A last-minute farewell show from P&D, tickets being released on the 19th and selling out in hours.[1] Exclusive shirts were sold at the merch booth.
Written AccountsThe show was your fairly standard Peat and Diesel gig, albeit with some quips throughout on how disorganised the whole show was. Technical mistakes plagued the band, first coming on stage too early and being abruptly interupted by pre-recorded audio from frontman Boydie. It depicted him trying to get to the venue while constantly being hounded by fans asking for pictures. It also played audio of him pissing, charming. His guitar was also faulty throughout the performance, due to how last-minute the whole thing was. Despite all that, the band put on a brilliant show that got the crowd roaring. Accordionist Innes, who provided most of the banter in-between songs, told the audience that Inverness was much like a second home to them. He joked that they might build an Ironworks of their own someday, to thunderous applause from the crowd. Near the end of the set, Boydie donned a gold sequin jacket, reminiscent of Rocky Horror, before tossing it into the crowd. (Webmaster, Attendee - 2023)
