The Ironworks, located at 122B Academy St, Inverness IV1 1LX, was a dedicated music and entertainment venue with a capacity of up to 1,000. Initally scheduled to open on July 29th, it finally opened it's doors on August 2nd 2006. After staying open for almost seventeen years, it was closed in order to be demolished, with a hotel to be built in it's place. This website is dedicated to preserving the rich history of this beloved venue and the iconic acts that have graced it's stage.
